Nov. 30th, 2011 11:03 amЧитаю "Modern Japan An Interpretive Anthology" (by Irwin Scheiner) про те, хто, як і коли писав про Японію.
Виявляється, освічені японці початку 19 століття вважали Японію "головою" світу, а різні країни Заходу - тілом і ногами з руками. Тому вони всі і прагнуть так сильно відвідати Японію - "мозок світу".
Провіднийрозвійник дослідник Школи Міто, Аізава Сейшісай не забуває і про Америку:

Краще не скажеш.
